The Buzz

The Multisports MS 3200 Home Gym is constructed with high caliber materials: a heavy gauge steel frame, lubricated 2000-lb test aircraft cables, reinforced nylon pulleys with sealed steel bearings, and ultra-high density foam padding. All that means is that this gym gives you a smooth, quiet, and durable feel. There are a couple of nice features here -- can you feel the burn of that VKR and dip station? You may want to talk to a trainer and discuss the features of this gym before you make your purchasing decision, however. Different multi-gyms offer a variety of stations; decide what you are looking for first, then find the gym that best matches your wish list.

Users have remarked in a couple of home gym reviews that the 2-seat unit takes up a lot of room. As far as quality is concerned, trainers and home owners like the solid feel and overall construction of the Multisports MS-3200, as well as the adjustability of the seats so that both short and tall users can do all the exercises comfortably.

Our Take

We would give the Multisports MS-3200 a rating of 3 out of 5 stars. The stations are not what we would choose, and for the high price of $2,499 and taking up a lot of space in your basement, this home gym had better be all you want and more. We suggest that if you are shopping for a multi-station home gym, that you compare key exercises in 8- or 9-station units. For example, if you don’t particularly care for a Pec Deck Fly, and would prefer a Preacher Curl or a Pull-up or a Rowing Station, then the Multisports MS 3200 Home Gym isn’t for you.
