The Buzz
The BodyCraft GXP home gym is customizable with decorative acrylic panels available in Graphite, Bronze, Sea Green, or Satin Ice. Compact in size, this unit takes up less than 5 feet of space. The frame is made from heavy 11-gauge 3.25" x 1.75" oval steel tubing, and features guide rods made of 1" diameter chrome plated tubular steel. The nylon-coated cables are aircraft cable rated at over 2,000 pounds of tensile strength, and the fiberglass impregnated nylon pulleys are 4" and 3" in diameter with precision sealed ball bearings. An orthopedic seat back is double-stitched vinyl covering 2" thick dual-density foam to provide lumbar support while reducing stress on the spine.
The 200 lbs weight stack is comprised of 10-lb precision-milled cast iron plates which are protected by steel guard enclosures for safety and appearance. The unique doubling cable design increases the resistance to a 2:1 ratio, up to 400 lbs. To double the stack, simply hook the attached “double up” cables to the functional training arms.
The customer reviews on this BodyCraft home gym point out that the quality is excellent and the cable arms allow for dozens of additional exercises over and above what you can do on it for machine exercises. These adjustable arms on the Cable Station allow for Functional Training as well as Sports Specific and Core Training. It mimics any exercise that can be done with dumbbells.
